Janhavi Dudhane
As a third-year architecture student at BNCA, Pune, she finds herself at the intersection of design and discourse. Her passion lies in crafting spaces that are environmentally conscious, emotionally resonant, and socially responsive. As per her, architecture is not just about building—it’s about questioning, observing, and storytelling.
She's drawn to sustainable design not only as a technical responsibility but as a creative ethic. Through 3D modelling and visualization, she strives to translate these values into forms that speak to both people and place—designs that minimize ecological footprints while maximizing meaning.
Parallel to her design journey runs her writing practice, where she reflects, critiques, and narrates the many layers of architecture, society, and identity. Alongside this, she also writes about emotional narratives and social commentaries to reflect on patriotism, identity, and everyday life.

In words on Janhavi,
Writing is where my thoughts find clarity—it’s where I explore the politics of space, the poetry of material, and the subtle interplay between aesthetics and ethics.
My blogs are a personal archive of thoughts that span far beyond architecture: from emotional narratives and social commentaries to reflections on patriotism, identity, and everyday life. Writing allows me to pause, question, and articulate what design alone sometimes cannot express.
I believe architecture is just one way of engaging with the world—but storytelling, in all its forms, is what truly shapes how we see, feel, and build. As I grow through both writing and design, my aim is to remain a reflective practitioner—one who is not only skilled, but also sensitive, critical, and unafraid to speak through multiple mediums.
